About the Organization

Manzil Mystics is on a mission to enable access to music education in government and low-income schools and communities for 1 million children by 2025-26. Their aim is to enable each child to realize his/her fullest potential and to give a voice to their dreams.

Active Founder(s)

Anurag Hoon Anurag has 13+ years of strong experience in Development and Education sector as a social worker, he also held a leadership position at an organization based in Delhi for 4 years and was the CEO for a year. Anurag has also been performing as a professional musician for last 14 years. He has a masters in social work and a marketing & sales degree from the US and known for making music part of education and increasing its sustainability for all.

Reshma Arya Reshma is one of the co- founders of Manzil Mystics Band and NGO. Professionally she is a nurse, she has worked in hospitals for 6 years, especially the area of mother and neonatal health. She will be completing visharad in Hindustani vocals. In 2013, she got the opportunity to study Nursing assistant and phlebotomy in the United States for one year. In Manzil Mystics, Reshma works as program director, she has been running a program on women empowerment name “WeBhor” The objective of the program is to use music as a medium to create Safe, brave, and Inclusive spaces for women. Through music we conduct sessions on the sensitive issues like reproductive and menstrual hygiene, Gender sensitization, socio – emotional health, sexual harassment, women rights etc.

Manik Kaushik Delhi-based Guitarist, Writer, Singer, Music Facilitator, Social Media - Outreach Manager & Co-Founder of Manzil Mystics, I have been working in the field of music and education for the last 5 years with Manzil Mystics, and completed my Graduation in BA. (DU). Currently Learning Hindustani Classical Vocals (3rd Year) and Bass Guitar.
