“Jaljeevika works to establish and strengthen aquatic food production system for enhancing livelihood opportunity.

During the last ten years, they have worked with more than 30,000 small and marginal fish farmers, micro entrepreneurs, and farmers collective members to enhance their skill, knowledge transfer and leveraging support from eco-system.

During the next phase of the organisation, Jaljeevika aims to pursue three strategies namely, setting up AquaSchool, AquaFund as credit support services for micro enterprise and Aqua-Fellowship model to induct youth, qualified professionals at communit institutions level for helping them in upscaling business potential.”
