About the Organization

Energy Harvest (EH) Trust is a registered Trust supports research, education, training and solutions deployment to improve the environment and help farming community through novel approaches to utilize agricultural waste for useful purposes. The trust specifically works in for the following areas:
– Solve the crop residue burning problem by supporting/conducting research to address challenges relating to the agri waste management.
– Increase the farmers income by conducting training for farmers and small entrepreneurship and help them integrate with the paddy straw value chain.
– Demonstrate the use of agriculture waste for useful products for Industry by partnering with academic institutes and industrial partners for research, funding and outreach activities

Sukhmeet Singh %designation% Sukhmeet is founder of Energy Harvest Charitable Trust, which is solving the huge problem of paddy straw burning in North India which causes severe air pollution every year. Sukhmeet has won many national and international awards for his work on saving paddy straw from burning including winning of Global Makers Challenge in 2019 and more recently CISCOs global climate award in Sep 2022. Sukhmeet was also invited to UN General Assembly in New York in Sep 2019 and his work was highlighted in a session on sustainable value chains.
