Dr Neha Verma %designation% Dr. Neha Verma is a digital Health professional with more than nine years of experience in the planning, design, implementation and evaluation of digital health & telemedicine projects. She has an MS and PhD in Health Sciences from Johns Hopkins University with a focus on telemedicine. She has authored several impactful publications on the implementation of digital health programs for frontline health workers with organizations such as the Global mHealth Initiative and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (Mobile Technology in Support of Frontline Health Workers), UNICEF (Telemedicine policy and implementation guidelines) and the Ministry of Health in Kyrgyzstan
Dr. Soumyadipta Acharya %designation% Soumyadipta Acharya is the Graduate Program Director of the Johns Hopkins Center for Bioengineering Innovation and Design (CBID) and an Assistant Research Professor in of Biomedical Engineering at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. He was the chief architect of a new graduate program in bioengineering innovation and design. He also runs a program in global medical technology innovation, which focuses on developing appropriate healthcare technologies for public health interventions worldwide. He has been involved in the invention and early stage development of several diagnostic and therapeutic technologies aimed at reduction of maternal and neonatal mortality in developing countries.
