About the Organization
Saturday Art Class’s vision is to create a world where every child is inspired to create with confidence.
They work to integrate Social-Emotional Learning (SEL, through visual arts) with creative exploration and expression into the classroom curriculum of schools that serve children from low-income communities. This ensures that all children have a safe space to develop awareness, compassion and creativity irrespective of their backgrounds.

With 9+ years of experience in the space of art and design with education in architecture, she has been an Arts for Good Alumna as part of The Singapore International Foundation. She has also designed art curricula and led programs delivering art education in schools, orphanages, and pediatric cancer specialty hospitals

Manasi Mehan is a Mumbai-based Social Entrepreneur who serves as the co-founder-CEO at Saturday Art Class. With 7+ years of experience in the social sector, she has been part of the Teach For India Fellowship Program from 2015 - 2017 from where the journey of Saturday Art Class began. She is also a Gratitude Network Alumna & 2020 Global Social Benefit Institute JumpStart accelerator program for women. Currently, Manasi is a part of the GATHER Artivism fellowship by Seeds of Peace.
