About the Organization

“Srujna is a registered charity working on the vision of enabling 100 million women affected by poverty to be financially independent, powerful, and resilient changemakers, in India.

It gets closer to achieving this vision by developing a network of grassroots organisations to become hubs of capacity building and income generation. It works in 30 locations with 23 grassroots organisations for implementing livelihood and capacity building activities.

Since inception, Srujna has worked with 55,000 women and continues to work with 43,000+ women in India.”

Jyotika Bhatia Jyotika is a social entrepreneur passionate about developing an army of mighty women leaders across India. She has a vision is to speak at the UN Women Convention one day about powerful Indian women and the changed women's status in the Indian economy. With the belief that women can transform communities, I strongly believe in investing in women. She is the CEO and co-founder at Srujna, not-for-profit enabling women impacted by poverty to earn a respectable income across India. With a background in psychology and social entrepreneurship, her focus has been on bringing stable long-term change. Her extensive love for travel takes me far and wide to study social change models, increasing her depth of knowledge. She has also been awarded national and international recognition for her work at Srujna, and mentorship from experts at the global level.

Vaishali Shah Vaishali Gandhi Shah is an Impact Leadership Coach for Women Who Want to Transform the World Using Their Feminine Energy. Her vision is to change the world by empowering them to become impact leaders. She is also the founder of Your Purpose Company, which teaches women how to discover their purpose in life and positively contribute to the world. In addition, she is a co-founder of the Srujna Charitable Trust. This organization has helped 55,000 women all over India and received over 11 national and international awards for its efforts. She is an expert in helping people create the life they want by using their inner strengths with a coaching process that is tailored to them. She has received coaching certifications from the Life by Design Academy, the Transformation Academy, and the Aarfeen Khan Institute, and she has been NLP certified by Dr. Charles Crasto.
